Sort of. Just not the kind you're picturing.
No Sunday service to sit through, no program to run, no stage. Just a family table: a real meal, unhurried worship, and people who know your name.
And we're not in competition with anyone. We love the churches of Central Oregon. Every week we pray into the needs of local churches across our region and ask God to bless them. If you already have a church home, we're cheering for it.
Let's be honest up front
God said "come and see" to us first.
We're not launching a finished thing with a five-year plan. We heard the Lord clearly, and what He said to us was simple: come and see what I'm building.
So that's what this is: a grand experiment. We're following Him one step at a time, and we're inviting you to come and see it with us. We'll tell you what we know, we'll tell you what we don't, and we'll learn the pattern together as He shows it to us.
Why we're starting
Moments come and go. We want something that lasts.
For decades a lot of us chased the next big moment, and still went home alone on Monday with life unchanged.
We believe God is inviting us into something deeper and slower: the fire of His presence shaping ordinary life. What starts in worship on a Saturday should still be carrying your family and your work on Tuesday.
So we're going back to something simple and old. People gathering as a family for presence, praise, prayer and a meal, and then meeting in homes to grow, be honest, and take care of each other. It looks a lot like the book of Acts, and very little like a show.
The vision

We are an Acts-style community gathering for unhurried worship and meeting in homes to disciple people, cultivate beauty, and build enduring Kingdom culture.
For decades the church has pursued revival moments while often leaving people isolated and culture unchanged. God is inviting us into something deeper: a spiritual renaissance where the fire of His presence transforms everyday life.
Like any true fire, this requires three elements held together. Prayer is the oxygen, the continuous breath that keeps the room alive. Worship is the heat, unhurried and beautiful, where we love God and He restores us. Equipping and discipleship are the fuel, providing steady truth so that what begins in worship on Saturday sustains family and work on Tuesday.
We are returning to an authentic Acts expression. We gather as a family for presence, praise, prayer, and shared meals, and we meet in homes for deep discipleship, honest relationships, and practical care. This is not a weekly performance or an event machine. It is an open invitation for the spiritually hungry to come and see.
In this house, leadership exists to equip, not to control. Drawing from Ephesians 4, we honor fivefold gifts as functions that serve people, never as titles to dominate them. Apostles lay healthy foundations. Prophets keep our focus aligned with God's voice. Evangelists keep the door wide. Pastors protect and nurture so every person is known. Teachers ground us in truth. Every gift is deployed to release people into their calling.
Beauty matters. Creativity matters. People are invited to take ownership of their own spiritual growth and learn to walk with God for themselves. By God-given design, each person carries distinct wiring, and this table lets every design breathe without being forced into an artificial mold.
Our direction is simple: pray without ceasing, worship with freedom, equip with clarity, and love people the way God loves them. We are walking this out together as a shared experiment, trusting God to reveal the pattern as we make progress. Come and meet Jesus, and see what God is inviting us to.
How the fire keeps burning

Gathering at the Table
We share a meal and worship
A real meal around real tables, then worship that isn't rushed, and prayer. Once a month through the end of the year, then the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month starting in January. Bring a friend. Bring your questions. Come exactly as you are.
Coming in spring
We'll meet in homes
Smaller tables where people are known by name: deeper discipleship, honest conversation and practical care. Home groups start in spring 2027. Dates to come.
What you can expect
Not an event machine. An open invitation.
- Nothing to perform. You don't need to have it together to walk in.
- No one gets used. Nobody is a volunteer slot. You're here to be loved and to grow.
- Room to be you. God wired each of us differently, and every design gets to breathe here.
- Your own walk with God. We'll help you learn to hear Him for yourself, not lean on us.
- Beauty and creativity matter. Art, music and making are part of how we worship.
- Honest questions welcome. Truth isn't something to be afraid of.
How we lead
Leadership exists to equip, not control.
We believe in the fivefold gifts of Ephesians 4: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We also believe they are functions that serve people, never titles to rule over them. Nobody here gets a gift as a crown. Every gift exists to release you into your calling.
Why the name
"Come," he replied, "and you will see."
John 1:39
When two curious people asked Jesus where he was staying, he didn't hand them a brochure. He invited them in. When Nathanael doubted, Philip didn't argue. He just said, "Come and see." That's the whole idea. Come meet Jesus, share a meal, find family.
When we gather
Come and see for yourself.
Gathering at the Table is a meal and worship together. We're meeting once a month through December. Starting in January, we gather on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.

An afternoon for women to gather, be real, and be refreshed. Come as you are, mess and all.
For everyone
Walk & Talk
A fun fellowship walk for every level of walker, starting at the north end of the Dry Canyon Trail in Redmond, then tea at Steep afterward. Questions? Call Sue Savage at 541-279-3875.
Held loosely
We're figuring this out together.
We don't have the whole pattern yet, and we'd rather say that out loud. For this first year we're walking it out as a shared experiment, praying without ceasing, worshiping freely, equipping clearly and loving people the way God loves them, and trusting Him to show us what comes next.
